100 prisoners, 2 BuCor employees tested positive of illegal drugs

115 prisoners and two employees of the Bureau of Corrections tested positive of illegal drugs.

This is according to BuCor Director Benjamin Delos Santos, who revealed the results of the random drug test of 585 prisoners and 1,000 employees of the agency.

However, Delos Santos said that prisoners and employees that tested positive of drugs will still undergo confirmatory drug test.

The two BuCor employees will be facing administrative cases if proven to be using drugs, while prisoners that tested positive of drugs will have their good conduct time allowance reduced.
