At least 10 members of the Philippine Coast Guard have been tested positive of illegal drugs during a random drug test that was recently conducted by the said agency.
PCG Spokesman Armand Balilo confirmed that contrary to what was previously reported that 45 of PCG members tested positive of illegal drugs, Balilo said that only 10 were tested positive.
There were at least two thousand members from the PCG from the national headquarters and the Sangley Point in Cavite underwent the said random drug testing.
Balilo, refusing to identify the said members said that they will have to undergo confirmatory test before they can confirm if the said PCG members are really using illegal drugs.
Meanwhile, the PCG will continue conducting random, unannounced drug testing in their agency.
